This family?

They have settled into my heart and they have decided to stay.

Forever

Cindy and Dale have created a family unit that is filled with respect, love, security and delight.

On a crisp early summer night, just like 30 years ago, she asked him

 (this time with the help of their children and grandchildren)

“Marry me?”

Lucky for him, he said ‘yes’.

The white  beaches of Chatham, Cape Cod, were the home for the simple ceremony.

Where Cindy and Dale renewed their commitment to each other and their beautiful family.

The grandchildren were so thrilled with the sandy playground.

The salty air kissed everyone’s spirits and smiles on this beautiful Saturday morning.

What struck me the most was how this family never wears out the words “I love you.”

And that love has easily shown it’s way to the grandchildren…

Thank you Lyon family for making me a part of something so special,
